Murray/Gregg amendment is off the table, but our cause will carry on

According to our latest update from Washington DC, the Murray amendment has been taken out of the Iraq supplemental bill by Democratic Party Majority Leader Sen. Reid (D-NV), mainly because of another much more controversial amendment by Sen. Feinstein (D-CA) on granting temporary legal status to estimated 1.35 million undocumented farm workers. Unfortunately although Murray amendment had passed the Appropriation Committee unanimously comparing to the Feinstein amendment's barely having passed the committee (17-15), our bill was taken hostage by it this time.
